ABOUT EDMUND GEGAN

One of the most rewarding parts of being a practicing attorney here in Tampa, Florida has been helping my clients prepare for some of life’s greatest challenges. Whether that is defending the small or family owned business they have worked to create from creditors and predators and other litigation; or helping my clients do their estate planning and lay down plans to protect their families, their children and even their grandchildren on into the future. I enjoy what I do, and that comes across when I deal with others, in the conference room with my clients, or in the courtroom with an adversary.

I am a native of Brooklyn, New York, where I grew up just blocks away from my grandparents on both sides of the family. I now live near Tampa, Florida with my wife and son. We have two grown children living in New York. My wife and I are most proud of our experience as foster parents, which we did for about three years, taking in six children over short term respite placements and two over a longer placement. It was the toughest job we ever loved, and I remain active supporting organizations active in the foster care field. My favorite thing to do outside of the office is reading virtually anything, and fishing or watching superhero movies with my boy and my wife, who are my best friends in this world. I thank God for every opportunity He has given me, how he has blessed and watched over my family, and ask He blesses my business as I seek to help and protect others.
